Apply for MFHA District Conservation Awards

If you would like to nominate a hunt club or individual member(s) for a District Conservation Award, it's time to begin planning to submit your supporting information. Materials should be sent to your District Representative. The MFHA Foundation instituted these awards to recognize conservation efforts in the various MFHA districts, and to inspire future land conservation efforts among members of the foxhunting family. The award is an engraved silver julep cup from the MFHA Foundation, as well as a one-year subscription to Covertside.

Order "Pageant's Miraculous Journey" and Support the MFHA Foundation

The children's book, "Pageant's Miraculous Journey," is still available, with all sale proceeds donated to the MFHA Foundation. Based on the true story of one Live Oak hound's 30-mile trek home after slipping out of his leash at a veterinary hospital, "Pageant's Miraculous Journey" is a fun tale featuring Pageant's imagined sojourn back to kennels. Along the way, author Catherine Ledyard and illustrator Beth Secor follow the hound as he interacts with many native Florida wild animals, some helpful and some less helpful. Visit the MFHA website to purchase your copy.
