A freak summer hail storm on June 16 pounded many localities in northern Virginia, including the town of Middleburg. The new MFHA headquarters building did not escape without some damage from the event, which produced pounding ice described as "softball-sized" and "unprecedented," along with high winds and flooding rains.
Our property suffered broken windows, some dents to the roof, and tree and landscaping losses. We continue to clean up and move forward toward work on the planned renovations. Please consider donating toward improvements — give today!
