A Message from MFHA President Tony Leahy, MFH

On Friday, January 29, the Grand Ballroom at the Pierre Hotel on New York City's Central Park provided a sumptuous background for the ladies and gentlemen attending the Masters' Ball. Floor-length gowns and "scarlet, if convenient" tails created a colorful swirl of black, white, and red as attendees from all over the continent ate, drank, danced and were merry to wind up two days of MFHA Board and Annual Meetings and related events.

Here are a few images capturing the glamor and gaity of the evening. Photos by Martha Drum, except as noted.

The appealing desserts rewarded those who worked off a few hundred calories on the always-crowded dance floor.
