When I first came to Live Oak,
I caught quite a buzz
And a greener whip
There never was
Under Piper's kind wing
My instincts grew strong
And the Masters' vast knowledge
Helped push me along
On Hat Trick and Preacher
I acquired some fame
But on Sundin and Royal
I made my name
Behind Eaglet and Daniel
And the great Maximus
We flew wherever
That coyote took us
Endless trot sets and clipping
All the blood sweat and tears
It feels like just days
When it's really been years
So many kind faces
There's too many to name
You have all touched my heart
My life will never be the same
And so it pains me to leave
Of that fact I can't lie
But my new home is calling
so north I must fly
And now the time has come
For me to depart
So I say tally ho
And of course 'bless your heart.
