Andrews Bridge Announces Hounds and Hunting Summer Program

Andrews Bridge LogoAndrews Bridge Foxhounds will host the Hounds and Hunting Summer Program July 7-10, 2014. Sessions run 8:30- 11:00 am each day. The purpose of this program is to educate our youth on foxhunting, with a particularly heavy focus on hounds, their care, and training. Hunting etiquette, safety, and organization in the hunt field will be discussed. Having a horse or pony is suggested, but not an absolute requirement. A parent or guardian is required to accompany their children for the riding portion of the program. Riders will trail ride, learn quadrille, walk out hounds on foot and on horseback, and participate in a mock hunt. Children without mounts will participate in other creative activities depending on age.

Contact Betsy Harris, MFH, for more information or to register. We have a limited number of openings available, so reserve your spot early! 215-519-0154. www.andrewsbridgefoxhounds.org
