A Leash of Questions with New Market-Middletown Valley Juniors

A few months ago, we featured a trio of young riders from New Market-Middletown Valley Hounds (MD) responding to our "Leash of Questions," and this month, we have another triumvirate of up-and-coming juniors to highlight. The Masters, staff, and dedicated members who encourage these young people to ride in the field are building a solid foundation for our sport into the future. The MFHA's Fairly Hunted Award, including a certificate, bumper sticker, pin and subscription to Covertside, recognizes children who hunt at least five times each season.

The youngsters first heard from whipper-in and historian Barclay Rives about the goals and planning involved in organized foxhunting.
